Halloween 2008

On Friday the 31st we hosted our second annual Halloween Party. It was a scream. Below are some images captured from the night:

Halloween
Me dressed up as the main character from Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 adaptation of a A Clockwork Orange.

Halloween
As part of me costume, I needed to procure a codpiece of sorts. Not being able to find an authentic one in any of the stores I visited here in town, I ended up making my own. To do so, I cut out a big chunk of cardboard in the desired codpiece shape, I soaked me cardboard codpiece cutout in the shower, and then I formed the cutout paper-mache style around a mannequin to dry to form. It was quite the process but it turned out good enough.

Halloween
Trinkets left behind by party goers. And yes, that is a fire extinguisher pin positioned in the lower left.

Halloween
Shoes taken off to dance.

Halloween
Coat hanger and Duct Tape. Not usually a good combo.

Halloween
Someone wore a a safety jacket.

Halloween
Someone wore scary slippers.

Halloween
This head was creepy.

Halloween
Cowboy rope.

Halloween
Jump rope and sword.

Halloween
Cleanup next day. Smokers butts never make their way into the proper receptical. Why?

Goodnight, everyone.
