Good book

The Road
Me pal Brandon recently recommended I read a book called The Road (a novel by Cormac McCarthy). I just finished it yesterday and was certainly glad I cracked the pages open especially considering the relevancy of the content as it relates to my position in life right now… hell, not just my life, the world and human existence in general. It is a book about struggle, sacrifice, resourcefulness, family love and perseverance.
It is beautifully written in stream of conscious fashion.
It is beautifully written in a way that makes you reflect and identify what truly matters and what does not.
It is beautifully written in a way that puts the current crisis we are enduring as a nation/world in perspective.
It is humbling, oddly comforting and worth the read.
