Childhood Memories

Maze on Sliding Glass Door.

As I’ve mentioned before, I use to be really into drawing mazes when I was a kid. There was just something about them, or perhaps what they represented, that I couldn’t resist. Flashing forward, above is a picture of my nephew. On a recent trip to visit (about 2 years ago), yours truly, ol’ Uncle Garett, pulled out a dry-erase marker and I drew a seemingly life size maze on my older sister’s patio door. My maze covered the entire door top to bottom. The biggest maze I had ever drawn. My little nephew then pulled out a stool, took my marker, and went to work on navigating the maze… but if I remember right… my maze stumped him. If I remember right, I think I had to help him finish. Image below is a maze I drew when I was a kid… I was probably about the same age as my nephew is now.
