Jaw welcomes metal shaft

This morning I underwent a minor oral & maxillofacial surgery session. Months ago my tooth was pulled…today, a metal shaft was inserted in its place. Today’s surgery highlights:
Local anesthesia, check.

Drilling a big hole in my jaw bone, check.

Titanium shaft inserted in said hole, check.

Gauze for blood, pills for pain, antibiotics for infection, nausea and swollen cheek, check.

$2,400 bill Doctor slapped me with, check…this was the most painful “check” of them all considering I have about twenty bucks in my account right now. Everything else I have is going towards the purchase of Version 3 holiday inventories!!!

We will soon be bionic and money won’t matter.
